Data sources

Disclosed data sources

The sources below are named because their licence requires it, each with the credit line that licence asks for. If you reproduce a figure from one of them outside Suros, its line must go with it. Every other source is read under that provider's own terms and disclosed only where a contract or a regulator requires it.

Measured here, not read from a feed

A beta on a listing is not taken from a vendor. It is regressed here over one year of daily closes, paired on the date, against the index published for the exchange that listing trades on, so both closes are struck on the same clock. The index can be changed from a list of twenty-five, and every beta on screen names the index and the window behind it. Where an exchange has no free index series, or where the exchange is not known here, no beta is served and the reason is stated in its place; nothing is assumed to be American. A vendor's own beta, where one is carried, is kept under its own name because the index, window and return frequency behind it are not disclosed, and it is not comparable with the measured one.

What is not a data source

The AI features send your prompt and the document excerpts they are answering about to the model provider configured on the deployment. Payments, email and analytics run through their own providers. None of them supply market data. They are listed as subprocessors on the security page, and what each of them sees is in the privacy policy.

Changing a feed

A source that changes its terms, its access or its price gets dropped, and the part of the terminal that depended on it reports itself unavailable until a replacement is in. Where the change touches a source named here, this page is updated the same day.
